Membership Guidelines
The following info outlines the details about the existing membership requirements and guidelines that was updated and approved by the FOBANA Membership Committee on February 18, 2022 and circulated on xx/xx/xxxx to the EC.
Please see details below:
(i) New Membership application.
(ii) Exiting Members renewal.
(iii) Documents and Fees required for voting eligibility.
(Vi) Fee required for cultural performance.
* The election commission will send further communication about the AGM and election date.
* Last day to renew or apply for a new membership will be May 31st, 2022 Midnight (ET).
* Last day with $100 penalty for new membership or renewal is June 15th, 2022.
* All member organizations must pay $250 host registration fees to the EC by July xxxx to be eligible to vote and perform in the convention (no exceptions).
* All membership and host registration fees must be paid to the FOBANA Treasurer as per our operating procedure without any exceptions.
* The Membership Review Committee reserves the right to determine your membership eligibility (for new members) and voter eligibility.

Payment Links:
Pay FOBANA Membership fee $100.00 New or Renewal
Pay FOBANA 2021 Host Registration Fee: $250.00
This is required for cultural performance time slot and to qualify to vote for qualified member organizations.
Documents Required for New Members Application:
1. Full completion of this membership form with fee.
2. Copy of State Registration or Certificate. Showing “Active.”
3. Copy of the Organization’s Constitution/ Bylaws and
4. Article of incorporation.
Documents Required for Existing Members Renewal Only:
1. A Complete Membership Form with the fee.
2. Proof of State registration status showing “Active.”
Documents and Fee Required for Voting Right for Qualified Voter:
1. Proof of the existing bank account. ( Pay fee with PayPal, pay with org check / provide a copy of Organization Check or provide a copy of the current account statement.)
2. A $250.00 Voting Registration Fee.
Fee Required for Cultural Performance :
1. A $ 250 fee is required to participate in the Cultural Program Hosting Fee.
( Total fee for the Membership Renewal and Cultural Program Hosting is $350.00. This will also give eligible members voting rights.)
